En el mercado desde el pasado 15 de Noviembre de este 2011, este set de 2 CD presenta la crema nata de la popular cantante Soul, Chaka Khan.Disponible para estas latitudes a título de 'import' la colección denominada "The Essential Chaka Khan" viene con 33 temas reconocidos de la famosa artista.
Chaka Khan ha influenciado otras generaciones de valiosas cantantes tale como Mary J Blige o Erykah Badu.
Desde su irrupción a mediados de los 70 con le grupo Rufus, Chaka Khan ha ganado fama, fortuna y muchos premios como solista (8 premios Grammy).
